Organically Grown Produce
Better Roots Farm, LLC specializes in growing greens and root crops utilizing organic growing methods which help to improve the health of the consumers and the environment. By using season extension techniques, including high tunnels and low tunnels, we have been able to offer fresh produce from April into December in NE South Dakota—with an eventual goal of providing fresh produce year-round.
Our Practices
Using locally-sourced compost and fresh spring water right from the ground at Better Roots Farm, we can provide some of the best-tasting produce around. The Roots are “Where Fresh Begins” for all of our produce, not just our Root Crops.
Our Farm
Our vegetables are the superfood you've been looking for! Filled with flavor and nutrition, most of our vegetables are harvested after 10 days. The nutritional value of our organic vegetables is highest fresh. They are great to add to salads, sandwiches, pasta, and smoothies.
